Community Development

The Company is especially concerned about the communities surrounding the company's business operations. This concern is shown through various activities held to improve the quality of life in those communities. Throughout 2007, the Company engaged in the following activities:

• The "Drink Milk Campaign", which has been conducted since 2005, routinely supplies milk to various schools and medical clinics in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Makassar, Manado and Denpasar
• The clean water supply program for communities surrounding the company's breeding farm locations in Medan, North Sumatra
• The provision of a 13,250 watt Electricity Generator for communities surrounding the company's breeding farm locations in Skarda Village, Sukamenang, Palembang, South Sumatra; the generator provides electricity to 42 households
• The provision of electricity to communities surrounding the company's breeding farm locations in Campang Village, West Java
• The provision of rabbit breeding stock to the people of Tuntang, Salatiga, Central Java
• The provision of goats as breeding stock to the people of Subang, Serang, Bojong, and; Darangdan, West Java
• Road repairs in communities surrounding the company's breeding farm locations in Pawenang, West Java and Singosari, East Java
• Free circumcicions for boys in the Cirata Dam area of West Java and others in communities sorrounding the company's breeding farm locations in Wates, Yogyakarta and
• Farm management training for 50 university graduates in Makasar, South Sulawesi.
