JAPFA4Kids
These activities in elementary schools are known as the 4 Healthy 5 Perfect campaign convey the theme of “Improve the Nutrition of Indonesian Children as is the Foundation of Advancement”. These activities have been performed by JAPFA in a number of cities in Indonesia and lasted for 2 (two) days in each city. It went on with the distribution of a Nutrition Package every month for 6 (six) months.
On the first day, all children are given a health examination and supplied with vitamins and medicines to those in need. These activities were performed by the physicians from the local Community Health Centers who regularly perform medical checks at schools. So the appointed Community Health Centers are located near to the location of schools
Well ... after being examined, the children are provided with vitamins and medicines, all were provided with Nutrition as a part of the 4 Healthy and 5 Perfect, namely 1 (one) egg, 3 (three) packs of Real Good milk, chicken and beef sausages, sticker as well as 4 Healthy and 5 Perfect book as well as packaged in JAPFA4Kids. And they were still provided with UHT milk from Greenfields of chocolate flavour.
The activities on the second day are for all members of the teaching staff at the school. The principal, the teachers and the school keepers were provided with the training with the title of 5S. The trainers were from the Train-Com Department of JAPFA. 5S consists of Seiri/Sorting, Seito/Organizing, Seiso/Cleaning, Seiketsu/Solidifying and shitsuke/Making Accustomed. The teachers were very happy and enthusiastic in following this training.
As the impression had by one of person one of the participants, this was a simple knowledge, but it was very important and they were always concerned about the issues of cleanliness and orderliness, in their every activities.
We utilise a video to display the condition of teaching environment, using humor to convey the message of being cleaner, more orderly, more tidy, and more organized, all of which can be made as habits and culture, considering that they are educators who are models for their students.
