Responsibility

For the last few years, Indonesia has been affected by several natural disaster. These disaster have caused the losses of many lives and vast amounts of property. The Company deeply cares about the effect of these disasters. Below are some of the natural disaster relief activities the Company has involved in during 2007

Earthquake in Padang. In April 2007, the Company donated 640 tents and provided staple food supplies and instant foods to victims of the disaster. This aid was channeled through the Padang Municipal Agriculture Office.

 

 

Earthquake in Bengkulu. In September 2007, the Company and its employees donated 2,500 aid packages, which contained food and clean clothing, along with 150 tents. These item, worth Rp 150 million, were distributed directly to the earthquake victims in Painan-Padang and Lais-Bengkulu

 

Flooding in Jakarta. The Company provided corned beef produced by its business units to emergency kitchens in various flood emergency stations in Jakarta.
