25 May 2025

Jakarta, May 25, 2025  -  PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA), through its downstream business entity JAPFA Food, has officially exported its newest product—OLAGUD Ready-To-Eat (RTE) Tender Chicken Breast—to Singapore in a 40-foot container shipment. This inaugural export marks a strategic step in JAPFA’s efforts to expand its international footprint while showcasing the competitiveness of its downstream products in the global market. The OLAGUD RTE Tender Chicken Breast product is specifically designed to meet the growing demand for high-protein, healthy snacks in Singapore. It is produced under stringent quality controls and adheres to food safety standards mandated by Singaporean authorities.

This product line is available in six internationally inspired flavors: Himalayan Pink Salt, Herbs, Miso Shoyu, Peri-Peri, Smokey, and Hainanese. These flavors were developed through in-depth market research to cater to consumer preferences in Singapore, the product’s first export destination.

“This export milestone is a testament to JAPFA Food’s ability to compete globally while complying with strict international quality and food safety standards. We are proud to showcase high-quality products made in Indonesia,” said Rachmat Indrajaya, Director at JAPFA.

This export initiative also aligns with JAPFA’s commitment to supporting regional food security. By leveraging local resources and an integrated production system, JAPFA can provide high-quality, sustainable food supplies not only for domestic consumption but also for international markets.

The success of this initial export shipment was made possible with full support from the Ministry of Agriculture, particularly the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health Services. All exported products are accompanied by Veterinary Health Certificates officially issued by veterinary authorities, confirming that the products comply with animal health requirements in the destination country.

Dr. Drh. Nuryani Zainuddin, M.Si, Director of Veterinary Public Health, emphasized the critical role of government oversight in ensuring the quality and safety of exported animal-based food products. “All exported products undergo rigorous verification and inspection processes in line with national and international animal health standards. We also uphold animal welfare principles throughout the production chain to ensure that operations are not only efficient but also ethical,” she stated.

This first export of ready-to-eat chicken breast fillets is expected to pave the way for future shipments to additional international markets, further strengthening JAPFA’s position as a leading player in the highly competitive food industry. It also serves as a successful example of synergy between industrial innovation and government policy.
