STP Earns AEO Certification, Reinforces Commitment as a Global Player in the Aquaculture Industry

Jakarta, May 20, 2025 - PT Suri Tani Pemuka (STP), a subsidiary of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA) engaged in integrated aquaculture, has officially obtained Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status from the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE) of the Republic of Indonesia. The prestigious certificate was presented today at the DGCE Headquarters and received by Erwin Djohan, President Commissioner of STP, and AEO Manager, Ibnu Khaidir Afied. This achievement marks a significant milestone in STP’s journey to establish itself as a world-class company committed to security, transparency, and full compliance with international regulations.
The AEO program recognizes companies that meet rigorous standards in customs compliance, taxation, and supply chain security. Holders of this certification are acknowledged as adhering to the SAFE Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade (SAFE FoS) set by the World Customs Organization (WCO). With this status, STP gains several benefits, including priority customs services and streamlined, accelerated export-import processes. "This achievement reaffirms our commitment to implementing secure, efficient, and internationally compliant business practices. We are confident that this milestone will open up greater opportunities for global expansion and strengthen international partnerships,” said Erwin Djohan, President Commissioner of STP.
To obtain AEO status as outlined in Minister of Finance Regulation No. 137/2023, STP successfully fulfilled seven core criteria: compliance with customs regulations; reliable trade data management; financial solvency; effective communication and cooperation systems; security awareness and education programs; robust safety and security systems; and a continuous improvement system supported by periodic internal audits.
STP’s AEO certification process spanned nearly two years, involving a comprehensive evaluation that included application submission, business process presentations, verification of standard operating procedures (SOPs), and on-site inspections by DGCE. On December 17, 2024, STP was officially granted AEO certification following approval from a multi-agency panel comprising representatives from DGCE, relevant ministries, and government institutions.
“We are deeply grateful for the trust extended by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. This certification is not merely a recognition, but a testament to our unwavering commitment throughout the process and a responsibility to uphold the highest standards of compliance and service quality. We are ready to contribute to global trade and national economic growth through business practices grounded in integrity,” said Jonny Susanto, Director of STP. With AEO certification, STP is now better positioned as a strategic partner in a secure and reliable international trade network, aligning with JAPFA Group’s vision to deliver sustainable, high-quality food solution.
