PT So Good Food Strengthens Collaboration with BPOM to Ensure Food Quality and Safety
Sidoarjo, 23 October 2025 – A subsidiary of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA), PT So Good Food (SGF), today received a visit from the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM) at its facility in Wonoayu, Sidoarjo. The visit represented a form of synergy between the government and industry stakeholders to ensure the implementation of food safety standards, quality assurance, and compliance with applicable regulations in the national food sector. 
During the visit, the Head of BPOM, dr. Taruna Ikrar, M.Biomed., PhD, conducted a direct inspection of SGF’s production facilities. JAPFA Director Rachmat Indrajaya and SGF Director Ahmad Komara explained the measures and innovations implemented to ensure product quality, including the application of ASUH food principles (Safe, Healthy, Wholesome, and Halal). In addition to ensuring food safety, SGF, together with BPOM, also paid attention to environmental sustainability by carrying out tree-planting activities around the factory area. This visit is expected to further strengthen cooperation with relevant institutions in delivering frozen food products that are safe, nutritious, and trustworthy for the Indonesian public.
